Dr. Ian Alvey
Dr. Ian Alvey is committed to making dental care both accessible and convenient, helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. Known for his enthusiasm for advanced technology, Dr. Alvey combines digital scans, 3D printing, and other innovative tools to deliver personalized treatments with precision. He ensures his patients are well-informed about their oral health and the solutions tailored to their needs.
Born and raised in Pineville, NC, Dr. Alvey earned his DMD at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and completed a residency in Asheville, NC, where he also taught digital dentistry at MAHEC. Returning to his roots, Dr. Alvey established Queen City Dentistry in Charlotte, NC, bringing his expertise and passion to serve his community.
Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Alvey enjoying outdoor adventures like wakeboarding on Lake Wylie, snowboarding in search of the perfect slope, or playing golf at a local course.
Dr. Dylan Sobin
Dr. Dylan Sobin is passionate about delivering advanced dental care in a seamless and convenient setting. With specialized training in IV sedation, dental implants, oral surgery, and periodontal procedures, he ensures patients receive comprehensive treatment from start to finish. Dr. Sobin takes pride in helping those with dental anxiety or difficult past experiences feel at ease by offering understanding, compassion, and sedation options when needed.
A South Carolina native, Dr. Sobin earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and his DMD from MUSC. He completed advanced training through the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Augusta University. Dr. Sobin is actively involved in his field as a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), American Dental Education Association (ADEA), and the Christian Dental Society. He also volunteers his time with organizations like the Special Olympics Special Smiles program and St. Matthew’s Baptist Church Free Clinic.
In his free time, Dr. Sobin enjoys exploring the outdoors with activities like fishing, hunting, kayaking, and camping. He also loves playing guitar, and basketball, golfing, visiting new restaurants, and spending quality time with friends and family.
